I was born in Shreveport, LA, but I was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. I'm so tired of being stereotyping people in Arkansas. Most of us aren't hicks, it's actually illegal to marry your cousin ( http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/3c/Map_of_USA_with_Incest_Legality.svg/279px-Map_of_USA_with_Incest_Legality.svg.png ) Just saying. Yes, we have people who live in really small towns who have one tooth ( what state doesn't?) But most of us are hard working, smart, great people who are sick & tired of people who have NEVER been here to judge us. Arkansas is one of the prettiest states, come here you will see. Personally, I am moving out of Arkansas in about a year, because I love big cities and lets face it, Little Rock & North Little Rock only has 200,000 people in it. And Dallas has a million just in that city (bigger then the whole STATE of Arkansas I believe) Anyone else sick of the stereotyping of Arkansas or another state (like alabama, kentucky, etc) ? I'm saying this, because I don't know how people could judge people they've never met? How? wild pony: I love redneck jokes. I think Arkansans make them up actually. I don't actually care, because I know how we are, it just annoys me. I remember when I went to NYC once (which i LOVE), they were surprised that I was from Arkansas, because I don't have a southern voice, smart, and I was actually like them. I was happy to end their stereotyping of us!... read more
